With year-round outdoor opportunities within a short drive of the historic downtown, Breckenridge is a must-visit for all Microadventurers and outdoor thrill-seekers alike. You can enjoy world-class mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, backpacking, and landscape photography during a single week.

Here is a list of our top seven reasons to visit Breckenridge this season:

#1 The Town

The first and foremost reason to visit Breckenridge is the town itself. It is a small town with adorable main streets. The most sumptuous part of this town is the skiing opportunity. On any winter day, you can head to the street side and view people skiing.

Moreover, you can even grab some snacks as well to relish the moments. Apart from the enjoyments, Breckenridge is even the largest historic district in Colorado. Several landmarks speak loudly about the history of this land.

#2 Slopes Are the Best Part

Breckenridge Ski Resort is very special for many reasons. But one of the most appealing aspects that attract travelers the most is the high mountains.

In most of the ski resorts, you will find only 1 to 2 peaks to try your skiing skills but the most fascinating part about Breckenridge is that there are 6 peaks. This means that you will never feel as if you are repeating your run again and again at the same spot. Isn’t it amazing?

When it comes to food the only world you will utter in Breckenridge is “wow”. This town of Colorado has amazing cuisine and grants incredible offerings for all types of taste buds.  You can try out in Blue Moose for your breakfast as it is the favorite among the locals in Breckenridge.

Other than that Amazing Grace and Columbine’s are even wonderful places for breakfast. If you are into bar food then head into Ollies Pub and Grub or Downstairs at Eric’s. they have an excellent ambiance along with wonderful etiquette.

#5 Beverages

Our list ends with the most exciting reason and that is Beverage in Breckenridge. Colorado is the capital of craft breweries and if it is not the reason for you to go Breckenridge then what is it? do not miss out visiting Breckenridge Brewery once you visit the town.

This company has grown from a small brewpub to a successful craft beer and restaurant company. On the other hand, Breckenridge Distillery is yet another place you should reach out to. It is an award-winning and highest distillery in the world.

Take a free tour and try out samples of their different products. But if these are too boring for you then here is the best solution – head to Breckenridge Craft Spirit Festival. It is the best place for spirit lovers and whiskey drinkers.
